The Yuru Camp anime returns in 2024 with its third season, with a new studio, direction and script.
The Eight Bit studio takes over the production of the new phase, with Shin Tosaka replacing Yoshiaki Kyougoku as director and Masafumi Sugiura replacing Jun Tanaka in the scripts.
It was also announced who the artists who performed the anime's theme songs in this third season were. Singer Kiminone will be responsible for the opening titled "Laid-Back Journey", while Asaka sings the closing "So precious", the songs will already be available for purchase in April 2024.
The manga has been serialized since 2015, with 14 volumes compiled to date. The first season premiered in January 2018, and the second came in 2021. In early 2020, the spin-off ROOM CAMP (Heya Camp) aired.
The series tells the story of a group of high school girls who love camping. It all starts when young Nadeshiko, upon moving to Yamanashi, decides to visit the famous Mount Fuji printed on the thousand yen notes.
However, while cycling along the way, she ends up fainting from exhaustion, being saved by Rin, a girl who is camping alone nearby. From then on, together with other students, they experience various adventures and misadventures with this hobby.
