Seiyuu Yui Ishikawa, Mikasa's voice from Attack on Titan, leaves his agency

Japanese voice actress Yui Ishikawa (Mikasa of Attack on Titan, Koto in Girlish Number, Violet in Violet Evergarden) announced on her blog this week that she left the Sunaoka Creative Artist Agency.

Ishikawa has joined the affiliate Himawari Theater Group for children for more than 23 years. She said, "Of course it seems lonely and scary leaving a place that is like a second home." "Honestly, I do not know what's going to happen. No matter how much I fall, it's my responsibility, "she added. However, Ishikawa explained, "It's because I've been in the same place for so long that I want to try to see the outside world."

Ishikawa said the ad will be her last update on her blog, which began in 2007. She is currently making preparations so she can provide future ads through social media. Ishikawa plans to continue his career as before.

Ishikawa's anime roles also include such characters as Hinaki in Aikatsu !, Miyoko in Koe no Katachi, Canaria in Qualidea Code and Tsukasa in Devil's Line. She contributed theme songs to Attack on Titan: Junior High, Heroic Age and Girlish Number.
