It is worth mentioning that the anime mini-series adaptation was produced by Kyoto Animation where we had 13 episodes released worldwide in April 2018 and a 30 minute OVA. The director of the TV series Taichi Ishidate also commands the project of the film and published the following message on the official Twitter of the anime film:
"Now, with the help of many people, I've been writing a new story for Violet. To do this as a job that can leave the audience satisfied. And to do this as a story that can make Violet happy. With these thoughts, I've been working on it every day. I think it should be a truly straightforward story and beautiful as the lyrics written by Violet. Although it is a bit ahead, please look forward to it. "
