VIOLET EVERGARDEN: THE MOVIE | Official site launches teaser trailer that reveals debut date and other news of the franchise!

The official site of the project that adapts to the series of novels of the manga and anime Violet Evergarden ended up posting an important teaser trailer of 30 seconds. The famous Japanese voice actor Takehito Koyasu confirmed with his imposing narration that the work of Kana Akatsuki will win an animated feature called Violet Evergarden: The Movie. In the video we also had confirmation that the project is set to be released in Japan on January 10, 2020.

It is worth mentioning that the anime mini-series adaptation was produced by Kyoto Animation where we had 13 episodes released worldwide in April 2018 and a 30 minute OVA. The director of the TV series Taichi Ishidate also commands the project of the film and published the following message on the official Twitter of the anime film:

"Now, with the help of many people, I've been writing a new story for Violet. To do this as a job that can leave the audience satisfied. And to do this as a story that can make Violet happy. With these thoughts, I've been working on it every day. I think it should be a truly straightforward story and beautiful as the lyrics written by Violet. Although it is a bit ahead, please look forward to it. "

In addition, a spin-off movie called Violet Evergarden: Gaiden - Eien to Jidou Shuki Ningyou (Violet Evergarden: Spin-Off - Eternity and Auto Memory Doll) will be shown exclusively in some cinemas in Japan for a limited period of two weeks between 6 and 19 September 2019. For the time being, there is no information about the release of the anime film in the West.
