Ni no Kuni: Movie has first animated trailer released

The official website of Ni no Kuni's movie released a video that is the first animated trailer of the film. The production until then only had a video of presentation of the design of the characters, that was released next to the announcement of the animation. The trailer details the main events of the story, as well as the first preview of the voices.

The film has original direction, draft and script by Akihiro Hino, responsible for the history of all games of the series Ni no Kuni until then. The direction is of Yoshiyuki Momose, that worked in works of animation in diverse films of Studio Ghibli, like Grave of the Fireflies and the Spirited Away.

The soundtrack is composed by Joe Hisaishi, who made the track of the games and much of the films of Studio Ghibli, such as Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, The Wind Rises and several others. The film will be animated in the studio OLM, best known for being the studio of Pokémon, but he is also responsible for Yo-kai Watch and Inazuma Eleven, animes that are also adaptations of Level-5 games. Although not so surprised the presence of the OLM, Ghibli was expected to be responsible for a project of the type since the first two games of the series had animation made by them, even though Ni no Kuni II was not the responsibility of the studio.

In the film of Ni no Kuni, we follow the story of two worlds, the real world and a parallel world completely different from ours. After a strange incident with Kotona, Yuu and Haru travel to the other world in order to save the life not only of Kotona's version of the real world, but also of the parallel world. What will be the "final decision" that the three friends will take in this other world?

Ni no Kuni was originally born as a game for Nintendo DS in 2010 and soon after also won a remake for PlayStation 3. Last year was released the game Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom, latest title of the franchise. In addition to the three titles, the series has two games available for mobile phones.
