The second season of Tokyo Ghoul: re in a teaser

The official website of the second season of the animated television adaptation of the manga Tokyo Ghoul: re of Sui Ishida has shown an announcement that tells us that the anime will be the conclusion of the story around Ken Kaneki and the "final chapter". This second season will be released in October.

Odahiro Watanabe (Soul Buster, Super Lovers 2) is the director of the series under Pierrot. Chuji Mikasano returns from the first two seasons of Tokyo Ghoul to put the scripts, while Atsuko Nakajima (Ranma, Sakamoto desu ga?) Replaces Kazuhiro Miwa in the character design.

The first season of the series premiered on April 3 and consisted of a total of 12 episodes.

Ishida published the manga Tokyo Ghoul in the pages of the Weekly Young Jump from 2011 to 2014, continuing with its sequel Tokyo Ghoul: re in October 2014 in the same magazine. The compilation volume number 15 of the work was put on sale on March 19.
