Kakegurui confirms staff and main cast for second season of anime

The September issue of Square Enix's Gangan Joker reveals what will be the main cast and crew of the second season of the animated television adaptation of the manga Kakegurui by Homura Kawamoto and Toru Naomura, which will debut in January 2019.

Kiyoshi Yasuda (Kuma Miko, Rozen Maiden) will join Yuichiro Higashi in the direction, MAPPA being again the studio responsible for the production. Yasuko Kobayashi will be the screenwriter again, while Manabu Akita will return as a character designer.

The first season was released on July 1, 2017 and had a total of 12 episodes.
