The team of Gekijouban Nanatsu no Taizai: Tenku no Torawarebito, the next film by Nanatsu no Taizai, has revealed a new trailer in which they introduce us to the new characters we will meet for the occasion. The film will premiere on August 18 in Japanese theaters.

The story of the film will unfold shortly after peace has been returned to the kingdom, and to commemorate the king's birthday, the protagonists travel to look for a very special ingredient in a remote land. There they will end up in the "Palace of Heaven", where all its residents have wings and Meliodas is mistaken for a criminal to be imprisoned later. While the residents of the city prepare to face a fierce beast that awakens once every 3,000 years, a group of evildoers appears that breaks the seal before time to blackmail everyone, although they did not expect that the protagonists would face them .
Noriyuki Abe will be the chief director, with Yasuto Nishikata as the director as such under A-1 Pictures. Makoto Uezu will write the script, while Keigo Sasaki will return from the television series as animation director and character designer. The music will be composed once again by Hiroyuki Sawano.
