Domestic na Kanojo manga gets anime

From the animation studio Diomedea have announced that they will produce an animated television adaptation of the manga Domestic na Kanojo by Kei Sasuga. Maaya Uchida will be the voice of Rui Tachibana, while Yoko Hikasa will be the voice of Hina Tachibana.

Shota Ihata (Girlish Number) will direct the anime under diomedea, being Tatsuya Takahashi (The iDOLM @ STER Cinderella Girls, Eromanga Sensei) who is in charge of the scripts. Naomi Ide (Gingitsune, Kancolle) will design the characters.

Natsuo is an institute student in love with Hina, her popular teacher. One day, at a group party to meet people of the opposite sex, he meets a girl named Rui with whom he ends up sleeping. Shortly after his father announces that he is going to get married again and that his new wife is a woman with two daughters. When Natsuo meets his two new sisters, he gets a peculiar surprise: one of them is the girl he slept with.

Sasuga launched the manga on the pages of the Weekly Shonen Magazine in Kodansha in April 2014 and its compilation volume number 19 will go on sale on July 17 in Japan. To date, the work has more than three million printed copies.
