Kadokawa have announced that the series of novels Girly Air Force by Koji Natsumi will receive an animated television adaptation by Satelight, leaving us with a first promotional image of the project.

Natsumi was launching the series in 2014 and the Dengeki Bunko label of Kadokawa will publish its ninth volume on June 9th. Asagi Tosaka is responsible for the illustrations.

The story of the novels presents us with the typical humanity threatened by mysterious flying creatures called Zai that appear one day out of nothing, with which humanity is organized to form a unit of special combat aircraft called "Daughters" and the machines that they will pilot them, the "Anima", which are shaped like human girls. Kei Narutani is a young man who dreams of flying who will meet Guripen, an Anima girl who is considered the main trick of humanity for victory.

As a piece of information, Natsumi worked on the story of Gust's Blue Reflection game.
