Chuukan Kanriroku Tonegawa: Anime reveals his first trailer


The official website of the animated television adaptation of manga Chuukan Kanriroku Tonegawa by Tomohiro Hashimoto (drawing) and Tensei Hagiwara (script) has revealed what is his first promotional video. The series will premiere on July 4 at 1:59 on the AnichU block of NTV, consisting of six months of broadcast.

Keiichiro Kawaguchi (Sket Dance, Frame Arm Girls) will direct the anime under the Madhouse animation studio. Mitsutaka Hirota (Digimon adventure tri.) Will be responsible for the scripts, while Haruhito Takada (Kaiji, Claymore) will be the character designer and chief animation director. Takahiro Yamada (BONJOUR Sweet Love Patisserie) will compose the music counting on Kisuke Koizumi as the sound director under HALF H · P STUDIO. Harue Ono will take care of the color and Mariko Tsukatsune of the edition.

Gesu no Kiwami Otome will be in charge of putting the opening to the series with the song "Sassoku to Hashiru Tonegawa-kun". The ending will be "Okitegami", played by Pistol Takehara.

The series is a spinoff of the Kaiji manga of Nobuyuki Fukamoto, with its protagonist Tonegawa, the right hand of Kazutaka Hyoudou, president of the Teiai Corporation and organizer of several tournaments where he bets. When Hyoudou becomes bored with his life, he orders Tonegawa to organize a "death game," so he and his subordinates will have to try to keep the president buzzing, leading to a lot of comic interactions between the two and other characters the Serie.

The manga premiered in June 2015 in the pages of the Monthly Young Magazine of Kodansha, counting for the moment with six volumes compilations.
