The next Dragon Ball Super movie shows more character designs

A new scan has seen the designs of Goku and Vegeta in Super Saiyan mode, as well as Bills, Whis and Piccolo in the upcoming Dragon Ball Super movie. The film will premiere on December 14 in Japan and the team hopes that its premiere will be as simultaneous as possible throughout the world.

Akira Toriyama, author of the original manga, commented on this film:

This Dragon Ball movie is the next story after the television series. It developed after the outcome of the Power Tournament, where the fate of the same universe was at stake, and the short rest that followed. I will give some details never revealed before about the Saiyan and the Freezer, as well as an expected and powerful enemy to overcome, with what I think is a pretty entertaining story.
From the film of the Battle of the Gods in 2013 and the subsequent Resurrection 'F' to the film itself, he has been writing with great care and has had the pleasure of drawing a lot of designs. Right now I'm as busy as ever, and although I do not have to buy anything from any serialization, I have to think about the anime, which is beyond my control (laughs). Wait with desire!
And by the way, the anime for television is over for now, but the popular manga of Toyotaro goes on. I think it has developed differently from the television series and the movie, so please, wait for it. I will do it myself!

Akira Toriyama himself, will be responsible for writing the script and designing the characters. Tatsuya Nagamine (One Piece Film Z) is the director, while Naohiro Shintani is the chief animation director. The artistic direction will be in the hands of Kazuo Ogura.

How could it be otherwise, Masako Nozawa will return as the voice of Goku.

Dragon Ball Super was released in Japan in July 2015 and in the West, being available through Crunchyroll
