The team of the animated television adaptation of the manga Hataraku Saibou by Akane Shimizu has announced that its premiere will take place at midnight from July 7 to 8 in Tokyo MX, later broadcasting on MBD, TV Aichi, Hokkaido Broadcasting and RKB. It has also been announced that the opening will be performed by four of the main voices (Kana Hanazawa, Tomoaki Maeno, Daisuke Ono, Kikuko Inoue) and will be titled "Mission! Ken-Ko-Dai-Ichi! "(Mission! Health comes first). It was previously announced that the ClariS duo will be in charge of ending the series with the song "CheerS". Four new voices have also been announced for the cast:

The human body contains about 60 billion cells, and they all have work to do! But when you suffer a wound, a virus invades you or triggers an allergic reaction, all the cells, from the silent but deadly white blood cells to the neurons of the brain, must work together to overcome the crisis.
Kenichi Suzuki (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Drifters) will direct the anime under David Production, while Yuuko Kakihara (Tsuki ga Kirei) will be in charge of the series composition, the scripts being written as such by Suzuki and Kakihara. Takahiko Yoshida (Welcome to the NHK, Yowamushi Pedal) will design the characters and will be the chief animation director, while Kenta Mimuro appears as a cell character designer, background designer and director of animation in scenes. Keiko Tamaki will be responsible for the designs of secondary characters. Kenichiro Suehiro (Re: Zero, Girls' Last Tour) will compose the music in MAYUKO. The work has more than a million and a half copies in circulation and in April 2017 gave rise to the spinoff Hataraku Saikin by Haruyuki Kichida. In July Moe Sugimoto launched another spinoff with Hatarakanai Saibou.
