Wright Flyer Studios has opened a website to announce that its Shometsu Toshi smartphone game will receive an animated television adaptation produced by Madhouse and music by Pony Canyon. The phrase with which they accompany the first promotional image is: "Memories are still alive".

The anime will count in its cast with:

• Kana Hanazawa as Yuki
• Tomokazu Sugita as Takuya
• Yuichi Nakamura as Akira
• Tarusuke Shingaki as Eiji
• Aimi as Kikyo
• Taisuke Nishimura as Geek
• Mitsuki Nakae as Yumiko

The story introduces us to Yuki, a young woman who is the only survivor of a town that is completely annihilated. Takuya, a petty thief, will meet Yuki and accompany the girl to the remains of the town, now called "Lost", following the clues of a letter from her father to discover what really happened in that place.

The game was released in May 2014 in Japan by Wright Flyer Studios and GREE, with more than 9 million downloads accumulated so far.
