Ore ga Suki nano wa Imouto: anime reveals visual and staff

The official website of the animated television adaptation of the series of novels Ore ga Suki nano wa Imouto dakedo Imouto ja nai by Seiji Ebisu has revealed a first promotional image and what will be its main team.

Hiroyuki Furukawa (Hajimete no Gal) will be the director of the series and character designer, thus adapting the original designs of Gintaro. NAZ and the new studio Maria Doraglier that will be responsible for producing the series. Furukawa himself announced in September 2017 the creation of this new study.

The series will premiere in October.

The story is starring Suzuka Nagami and his older brother Yu Nagami. Suzuka is a beautiful high school student with excellent grades and is the chair of the student council. In addition the girl has written a novel about a little sister who adores her older brother, having won a literary prize with her. After discussing the subject with his brother, they decide that Yu will debut as author of light novels instead of Suzuka, although under the pseudonym Chiaki Towano.

Ebisu launched the series of novels in 2016 under the label Fantasia Bunko and counted on illustrations of Gintaro, having published its sixth volume last 20 of April. From December 2017 on the pages of the Dragon Age magazine of Kadokawa is published an adaptation of manga by Ko Narita.
