One Piece: Manga will have two new special volumes



The number 25 of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine reveals that Shueisha will release two new tomes from Eiichiro Oda's One Piece manga that will compile the chapters of manga cover stories. Under the name One Piece DOORS, the first volume will go on sale on June 4, while the second will be released on July 4. Both volumes will include "a special page".

Shueisha will also launch on June 4 what will be the ninth compilation volume of the manga, whose cover can be seen accompanying these lines thanks to the official Twitter account of the franchise.

In addition, the manga today announces that the manga already has more than 440 million copies worldwide, corresponding some 365 million of those copies only to Japanese territory. Oda launched the manga on July 19, 1997 on the pages of the Weekly Shonen Jump and in 2015 it received a Guinness Record for being the "comic with the most published copies of a single author".
