The official website of the live-action film adaptation of Naoshi Komi's manga Nisekoi and number 26 of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine have revealed new members for the film's cast.

The announced deal is:

  • Yuta Kishi, from the King & Prince group, as Shu Maiko

  • DAIGO, from the band BREAKERZ, as Claude

  • Marika Matsumoto as Kyoko Hihara

  • Aono Kaede as Seshiro Tsugami

  • Hana Kawamura as Ruri Miyamoto

Join the cast previously announced:

  • Kento Nakajima, from the group of idols Sexy Zone, as Raku Ichijo

  • Ayami Nakajo as Chitoge Kirisaki

  • Natsumi Ikema as Kosaki Onodera

The film will premiere on December 21 in Japanese theaters.

Hayato Kawai (real image of Ore Monogatari !!, Ani ni Aisaresugite Komattemasu) will be the director of the film, which will be produced by FINE Entertainment.

The manga revolves around Raku Ichijo, a high school boy who seems very normal and who made a promise as a child with what he thought was the love of his life: she took the key with him and the lock. One day he meets Chitoge Kirisaki, a girl with whom his first contact is to kneed him in the face.
Raku is actually the heir of a large clan of yakuzas, and will end up having to relate to the newly known Chitoge without being able to avoid it, since she is the daughter of the head of a rival clan.
Both will pretend to have a relationship for the good of their families, and everyone believes it. Raku will discover that Chitoge fondly keeps a key from his childhood but does not remember what it was.
Komi started Nisekoi as a one-shot on the Jump Next! of Shueisha at the beginning of 2011, turning it into manga shortly after that same year. The work was coming to an end in August 2016, compiling a total of 25 volumes.
