The official website of the animated television adaptation of manga Otaku ni Koi wa Muzukashii of Fujita has revealed that the series will be released in physical format in a total of four volumes that will add 11 episodes. The volumes will be released monthly between July and October. Yoshimasa Hiraike (Working !!, Amagami SS) will direct the anime under A-1 Pictures, being also responsible for the scripts. Takahiro Yasuda (Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi, Nihon Mukashi Banashi) will design the characters, while Akimitsu Honma (Kyoukai no Rinne, Ai no Kusabi) will compose the music. A gamer who spends most of his free time gaming. Unlike Narumi, he does not care if everyone knows that he is an otaku. He is also considered to be very attractive by girls, although he doesn't seem to care. Hanako Koyanagi Voiced by: Miyuki Sawashiro Narumi's senpai at the office. She is actually a famous (handsome) cosplayer under name "Hana-san" who usually cosplays as a guy character. She also kind of liking boys love genre. Tarō Kabakura Voiced by: Tomokazu Sugita Hirotaka's coworker at the office who is a bit of otaku; he likes heroes and bishojo. Naoya Nifuji Voiced by: Yūki Kaji Hirotaka's younger brother; a university student. Naoya cares very deeply for his brother. He wants the best for Hirotaka, and is genuinely happy when good things happen to him. Kō Sakuragi Voiced by: Aoi Yūki An introverted solo gamer who always saying "I'm sorry."
