The anime Jashin-chan Dropkick adds Marina Yamada, former HKT48, to her voice cast

From the agency of talents Crocodile they have announced that Marina Yamada, old component of the group HKT48, has been united to its rows to make debut like seiyuu and singer in solitary. The first role as Yamada's seiyuu will be with the animated television adaptation of Yukiwo's Jashin-chan Dropkick manga, although his character has not yet been revealed.

In the cast they have confirmed their roles:

  • Chiaki Omigawa as Minos
  • Rico Sasaki as Poporon

  • Natsuko Hara as Mei Tachibana
  • Kazusa Aranami as Yusa
  • Miko Terada as Koji

The comic manga is starring Yurine Hanazono, a university student who invokes Jashin-chan, a demon from the underworld. Now they must live together in a dilapidated apartment in the Jinbocho district of Tokyo. The issue is that the only way Jashin-chan has to return to the underworld is that the one who invoked her, Yurine, dies, so she spends the day plotting plans to try to assassinate her.

The opening will be "Ano Ko ni Dropkick", played by Aina Suzuki, Nichika Omori, Miyu Kubota, Yurie Kozakai, Chiaki Omigawa, Rico Sasaki and Riho Iida as their respective characters.

Yukiwo launched the manga on the Comic Meteor website of Flex Comic in April 2012 and its ninth volume compilation went on sale last December 9.

The series will premiere next July
