The Kyoto Teramachi Sanjo no Holmes novels will have anime for TV in summer


The headline of the first compilation volume of the manga Kyoto Teramachi Sanjo no Holmes by Mai Mochizuki and Ichiha Akizuki has revealed that Mochizuki's original novels will receive an animated television adpatation next summer. The official website of the anime is already available and reveals that the studio Seven will be responsible for the production.

Aoi Mashiro is a high school girl who goes to an antique shop in the Teramachi Sanjo shopping district of Tokyo, where she meets Kiyotaka Yagashira, the son of the business owner. Aoi will end up working part-time in the store and discover that Kiyotaka is known as "the Holmes of Teramachi Sanjo", which will end up helping his new boss to solve all kinds of strange cases that customers will entrust.

Mochizuki launched the novels illustrated by Yamochishizu in April 2015, with its ninth volume scheduled to go on sale next March 14. Akizuki premiered his adaptation to manga last December in the pages of the Monthly Action of Futabasha.
