Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online presents its opening in a new video

The official Twitter account of the animated adaptation of the Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online novels has shown an announcement in which we can listen to what will be the opening, "Ryusei", by Eir Aoi.

The anime will premiere on April 8.

Masayuki Sakoi (Sora no Method, Princess Resurrection) will be the director of the anime studio Studio 3Hz (Flip Flappers, Princess Main). Yousuke Kuroda (My Hero Academy, Gundam Build Fighters, Mobile Suit Gundam 00) will be in charge of the scripts, being Yoshio Kosakai (Chaos; HEAd, Needless) the chief animation director and character designer, thus adapting the original designs of Kouhaku Kuroboshi .

Karen Kohiruimaki always felt out of place in the real world. Due to her extreme height, she found it hard to make friends with other girls her age. Everything changes when she's introduced to VR and Gun Gale Online. In GGO, Karen is free to play the cute, chibi avatar of her dreams! Can Karen find friendship in this bullet-ridden MMO...?

The ending will be "To see the future", by Tomori Kusunoki.

The series of spinoff novels are written by Keiichi Sigsawa and illustrated by Kouhaku Kuroboshi, with Reki Kawahara as their supervisor.
