The anime Tokyo Ghoul: re reveals who will put his opening

The official website of the animated television adaptation of the manga Tokyo Ghoul: re of Sui Ishida has revealed that the band Cö shu Nie will be responsible for putting the opening to the series with the theme "asphyxia". Ishida himself chose the band and named the theme.

The anime will premiere on April 3, broadcasting via Tokyo MX, Sun TV, TV Aichi, TVQ Kyushu Broadcasting and BS11.

The cast previously announced is:

  • Yuma Uchida as Ginshi Shirazu
  • Natsumi Fujiwara as Toru Mitsuki
  • Ayane Sakura as Saiko Yonebayashi
  • Yu Kobayashi as Kanae von Rosewald
  • Mamoru Miyano as Shu Tsukiyama
Odahiro Watanabe (Soul Buster, Super Lovers 2) will replace Shuhei Morita as director under Pierrot, while Pierrot + appears as assistants in the animation production. Chuji Mikasano will return from the first two seasons of Tokyo Ghoul to put the scripts, while Atsuko Nakajima (Ranma, Sakamoto desu ga?) Will replace Kazuhiro Miwa in the character design.

Ishida published the manga Tokyo Ghoul in the pages of the Weekly Young Jump from 2011 to 2014, continuing with its sequel Tokyo Ghoul: re in October 2014 in the same magazine. The compilation volume number 14 of the work was put on sale on January 19.

Previously Tokyo Ghoul was adapted to two television series, several OVA, as well as games for PSVita, smartphones and plays. He also had an adaptation to a real image film released last summer.
