The anime The Caligula Effect reveals a promotional video and its main team

From FuRyu they have shown a teaser video, two promotional images and revealed the main team of the animated television adaptation of The Caligula Effect. In the video we can listen to the theme "Distorted † Happiness (Anime Re: Arrange Ver.)" By Reina Ueda.

The series will tell the same story as the game and will consist of three months of broadcast, debuting as previously announced next April.

Takuya Yamanaka of FuRyu appears as responsible for the original concept, being Jun'ichi Wada (SukaSuka, Ragnastrike Angels) the director of the series under Satelight. Touko Machida (Centaur no Nayami) is in charge of the scripts, while Kenji Tanabe (Binbogami ga!) Will adapt the original character designs of Oguchi to the anime. Satoshi Motoyama (Dagashi Kashi, Ramen Daisuki Koizumi-san) will be the sound director, being the musical compositions of Tsukasa Masuko, Yasuharu Takanashi, Funta7, RegaSound and Kenji Iwata.

Chiharu Sawashiro and Shunsuke Takeuchi will put the opening with the theme "Paradigm Box". Rie Murakawa, Ari Ozawa, Rie Takahashi and Minami Tanaka will put the ending with "Hypno". The singles of both songs will go on sale on May 16.

The game was released for PSVita in Japan on June 23, 2016, arriving in 2017 to the West and takes place in a virtual world known as "Mobius" that governs the voice software "Mu" and in which men and women live as high school students. A group of characters, including the protagonist, will decide to try to escape and return to the real world.
