Pokémon the Movie: Everyone's Story releases a new trailer and more details

The official website of the Pokémon films has revealed a trailer and a teaser of what will be his film number 21, revealing in addition that his title will be Gekijouban Pocket Monster: Minna no Monogatari, or Pokémon the Movie: Everyone's Story. Its premiere is scheduled for July 13 in Japan.

In the promotional image shown you can read: "With you I can do even what I can not do when I'm alone ...". The story will take us to the Wind Festival that takes place every year in Ciudad Frau, a place blessed with the wind of the legendary Lugia.

In the video we present some of the new characters, including: Risa, a rookie of the Pokémon; Kagachi, a man with a tendency to yawn; Torito, a somewhat shy researcher; Hisui, a strange old woman; and Rarugo, a mysterious girl.

The cast returns from previous adaptations:

  • Rica Matsumoto as Satoshi
  • Ikue Otani as Satoshi's Pikachu
  • Megumi Hayashibara as Musashi
  • Shinichiro Miki as Kojiro
  • Inuko Inuyama as Nyarth
  • Unsho Ishizuka as Narrator

Wit Studio (Shingeki no Kyojin) will participate in the production of animation with the studio Oriental Light and Magic, who have traditionally been in charge of the animated part of the Pokémon franchise. Previously Wit Studio had already participated as support in the production of animation in other Pokémon films, but this is the first time he does as the main producer. Tetsuo Yajima, director of Pokémon, I'll choose you !, will return as director of this new release, while the character designs will be Shizue Kaneko (Peace Bread!).

They are joined by Eiji Umehara (Beelzebub) and Aya Takaha as screenwriters, while Kunihiko Ikeyama, director of several Pokémon films to date, will be the animation supervisor.
