Purely Monster and Junjou no Afilia play the musical themes for the anime Ore ga Suki nano wa Imouto

The official website of the animated television adaptation of the series of novels Ore ga Suki nano wa Imouto dakedo Imouto ja nai by Seiji Ebisu has shown a promotional video of the series that reveals what will be its musical themes. Purely Monster (Centaur no Nayami) will be responsible for putting the opening, while Junjou no Afilia (Hajimete no Gal) will take care of the ending.


The series will premiere in October.


In the main cast they will be:

Tasuku Hatanaka as Yu Nagami
Queen Kondo as Suzuka Nagami

Hiroyuki Furukawa (Hajimete no Gal) will be the director of the series and character designer, thus adapting the original designs of Gintaro. NAZ and the new studio Maria Doraglier that will be responsible for producing the series. They are joined by Yuichiro Momose (Hajimete no Gal) as head of scripts, Masakazu Miyake (Girls' Last Tour) as artistic director, Kumiko Yanagisawa (Konohana Kitan) as head of color, Kisuke Koizumi (Parasyte) as sound director and Yashikin (Hajimete no Gal) as a composer.

The story stars Suzuka Nagami and his older brother Yu Nagami. Suzuka is a beautiful third grade student with excellent grades and she is the student council president. In addition the girl has written a novel about a little sister who adores her older brother, having won a literary prize with her. After discussing the issue with his brother, they decide that Yu will debut as the author of light novels instead of Suzuka, although under the pseudonym Chiaki Towano.

Ebisu launched the series of novels in 2016 under the seal Fantasia Bunko and with illustrations by Gintaro, having published his sixth volume on April 20. Since December 2017, an adaptation to manga by Ko Narita has been published on the pages of Dragon Age magazine in Kadokawa.
