Harukana Receive anime in new promotional video


The official website of the animated television adaptation of manga Harukana Receive of Niyoijizai has posted a new promotional video and revealed that the series will premiere on July 6.


The announced cast of voices is:

  • Kana Yuki as Haruka Ozora
  • Saki Miyashita as Kanata Higa
  • Atsumi Tanezaki as Claire Thomas
  • Rie Suegara like Emily Thomas
  • Miyuri Shimabukuro as Narumi Toi
  • Kanae Ito as Ayasa Tachibana
  • Chisa Kimura as Akari Oshiro
Toshiyuki Kubooka (Berserk: The Golden Age Arc) will direct the anime under C2C, being Touko Machida (Centaur no Nayami) who will be in charge of the scripts. Takeshi Oda (Onee-chan ga Kita) will design the characters and will be the chief animation director.

Shinya Yamada is responsible for the secondary character designs and costumes designs, being Takeshi Oda, Yoshiaki Tsubata and Tetsuya Matsukawa who are in charge of the direction of animation counting with Hidetoshi Takahashi as assistant director. Hiroki Ikeshita and Shigeru Chiba will direct the special effects. The main animators will be Nobuyuki Matsuo and Shunsuke Takarai, while Yoshio Mizumura will design the backgrounds.


Shinji Sugiyama is in charge of the artistic section, with Mio Isshoku being responsible for the artistic direction of the funds under Studio WyearthRyota Katsuta is responsible for the color and Jumpei Mukai for the 3D direction. Yoshito Kuwa directs the photography under Studio CyanKeisuke Yanagi is in charge of editing.

Akiko Fujita is the sound director at HALF H · P STUDIO, while Rasmus Faber (Lagrange, Asterisk War) composes the music at Kadokawa.


The story is starring Haruka, a girl complexed by his great stature, and Kanata, who is about to leave his beloved beach volley for his short stature. With the height of Haruka and the experience of Kanata both girls will form a great couple to play beach volleyball in Okinawa.


Nijoijizai launched the manga in the pages of Manga Time Kirara Forward in August 2015, having released its fourth compilation volume on September 12th.
