Nidome no Jinsei wo Isekai de: Light Novel Series will have Anime in October

Hobby Japan have announced that the series of novels Nidome no Jinsei wo Isekai de ([New Life +] Young Again in Another World) of MINE will receive an animated television adaptation that will be released next October.

Keitaro Motonaga (Digimon Adventure tri., Jormungand) will be the director of the anime under Seven Arc Pictures (Basilisk: The Ouka Ninja Scrolls). Takamitsu Kouno (Gabriel DropOut) will be in charge of the scripts along with Touko Machida (Caligula, Centaur no Nayami), Koujiro Nakamura (Wagamama High Spec) and Chabo Higurashi (Cheating Craft). Makoto Takahoko (Fastest Finger First) will be responsible for adapting the original designs of Kabocha to the anime.

Renya Kunugi is 94 years old and feels that she has lived a full life, so when the moment of her death arrives she feels no fear and is ready to leave forever. However, when he wakes up, he discovers he has run out of memories and that before him there is a girl who claims to be God. The surprise does not feel good to the man, who deep down was already somewhat tired of living, so his reaction is to kick the girl in the face ... that really is God. Renya is lucky because God has problems and urgently needs someone to go to another world to make him a liaison to get something, but whoever goes will not have to make an effort, just live there while God does his work. The offer includes a new body of 18 years, a good set of powerful skills and a world where they say that food is a luxury for the palate. Thus, Renya ends up in a new world, being young again and having no idea what the new world is like. Can he survive the world? Can the world endure an old man of 94 years converted into a young man of 18?

MINE launched the series of novels on the web Shosetsu ni Naro in January 2014, counting to date with more than 189 million page views. Hobby Japan launched the printed version of the series in November 2014 with illustrations of Kabocha, and its volume number 18 will go on sale on May 24.
