Kishuku Gakkou no Juliet: anime reveals cast, staff and release date




The official website of the animated television adaptation of the manga Kishuku Gakko no Juliet by Yosuke Kaneda has revealed a promotional image and what will be its main team. Its release is also scheduled for next October.

Seiki Takuno (Yamada-kun and the Seven Witches, Poco's Udon World) will direct the anime under LIDEN FILMS. Fumiaki Usui (Poco's Udon World, Sekko Boys) will be the assistant director, while Takao Yoshioka (Working !! 2) will supervise and write the scripts. Yuki Morimoto (Miss Monochrome) will be the character designer, while the music will be put by Masaru Yokoyama (Your Lie in April).

The story is led by two students from two different nations who go to the Dahlia Academy, where a forbidden love between them arises. In the residence of the Towa Nation is Romio Inuzuka, and in the residence of the Principality of the West, resides his beloved and enemy, Juliet Percia. Everything will start when Romeo plays his life in his declaration of love.

In the cast they will be:


  • Yuuki Ono as Romio Inuzuka, student of first and leader of the residence "Perros Negros" of the Nation of Towa.
  • Ai Kayano as Juliet Percia, student of first and leader of the residence "Gatos Blancos" of the Principality of the West.

Kaneda launched the manga on the pages of the Bessatsu Shonen Magazine in 2015, moving to the pages of the Weekly Shonen Magazine in 2017. Its seventh volume compilation was put on sale on March 16 and to date is more than one million copies the one that has printed the work. Last year the work obtained a nomination in the 41st installment of the Manga Kodansha Awards.
