Happy Sugar Life: Anime adds Kikuko Inoue the cast

Exclusive promotion



The official website of the animated television adaptation of Tomiyaki Kagisora's Happy Sugar Life manga has revealed a new promotional image and that Kikuko Inoue will be the voice of Sato's aunt, whom we can see under these lines.


It joins the cast previously announced:


Natsuki Hanae as Taiyō Mitsuboshi


Aya Suzaki as Shōko Hida


Yuichiro Umehara as Daichi Kitaumekawa


Kana Hanazawa as Satō Matsuzaka


Misaki Kuno as Shio Kōbe


Yumiri Hanamori as Asahi Kōbe

Keizou Kusakawa (Kancolle, Fuuka) will be the project's chief director, while Nobuyushi Nagayama (My Girlfriend is Shobitch) will direct the series as such under the Ezo'la studioTouko Machida (DIVE !!) is in charge of the scripts, while Shoko Yasuda (without Nanatsu no Taizai) designs the characters.

Youko Matsubara is responsible for the color, Kiyotaka Yachi for the direction of funds, Yasuyuki Itou for the direction of photography and Yuuji Oka for the edition. Yayoi Tateishi is the sound director, while Koichiro Kameyama composes the music. The opening of the series will put Nanawoakari.

ReoNa (Sword Art Online: Alternative Gun Gale Online) will be in charge of ending the series with the song "Sweet Hurt", whose single will be put for sale on August 29 as the artist's first single.


High-schooler Matsuzaka Satou has a reputation for being easy, but one day her lifestyle of sleeping with one boy after another comes to an end. Happy Sugar Life debuted in the pages of the Gangan Joker in 2015 and its seventh compilation volume went on sale on March 22.
