Isekai Cheat Magician will have anime

The official Twitter account of Shonen Ace magazine from Kadokawa has revealed that Takeru Uchida's Isekai Cheat Magician novel series will receive an animated adaptation.

The story centers on high school boy named Taichi Nishimura who is transported to an another world. He was just an ordinary boy, good at sports a little bit, in the real world. However, he learns that he is an irregular existence with overwhelming magical power and physical ability in the another world. Then he starts his adventures as "Cheat Magician."

Uchida premiered the series on the website Shosetsuka ni Naro in 2012, where he continues to update it. Shufunotomo is in charge of the physical edition of the novels with illustrations by Nardak, having put on sale his first volume in 2013 and having dated the eighth for next May.

To date, the manga and the novels together total more than 850,000 printed copies.
